The Culver City High School girls volleyball team faces the same dilemma as the football team.

To make the CIF playoffs, the Lady Centaurs must win their remaining three regular season games and El Segundo needs to lose once.

Culver City and El Segundo have been tied for second place in the Ocean League with 5-2 records. Culver City is 14-10-1 for the season.

This afternoon the Lady Centaurs play at Hawthorne and Tuesday at Beverly Hills.

In a four-game match last Thursday, Culver City beat El Segundo when junior co-captain Krista Hernandez had 21 digs, Lena Johnson had 13 kills, co-captain, Adili Rikonja had seven kills and middle blocker McKenna Stevens had 14 blocks.

Last Saturday Culver City took second place in the Chadwick Tournament, defeating Cerritos, Bellflower and Vista Del Mar on their way to the final game against Chadwick.  Krista Hernandez finished the tournament with 56 digs and 15 aces while her sister Alyssa had 23 digs.
