She Has More Money Than We Have – Inherited, Too. Ugh

Life should be even more fun after Betsy DeVos’s confirmation yesterday as Education Secretary than it was when the envious Jenny Craig dropouts applied their considerable bulk to a doomed attempt to derail the eminently qualified lady.

They lost yesterday’s vote even though they spent zillions to trick Republican senators into rejecting Ms. DeVos.

My question: What are the red-faced bully bigots, the teachers union leaders at the National Education Assn. and the American Federation of Teachers, so outraged about?

Obligatory fury?

Libbies lost.

It happens.

Game over.

The park is closing.

Go home.

In the tradition of soreheaded losers, the ladies who lead the teachers unions – Randi Weingarten and Lily Eskelsen Garcia – ignored what really has vexed them since November yesterday when they parceled out blame for their defeat.

Instead they spotlighted Ms. DeVos’s distractions – she never attended public schools, she drives a red car, she owns too many pairs of running shoes, she cooks in high heels. You know, the dominant reasons we were put on earth.

Sniffling up her tears, Ms. Eskelsen Garcia said that her allies form “the most diverse” crowd of yahoos ever to protest a Cabinet nominee. Further, she said, they are balanced fairly, just the right proportion of blacks, browns, in-between shades, whites, reds and mixed races.

Only privately do Randy, Lily and their lapdog followers blurt out that Ms. DeVos’s principle disqualification is her billionaire status.

It is an old Democrat party disease. The ladies hate/envy Ms. DeVos because she is rich, and that is why they are promoting the organized marches.

What wonderful role models they are for their students. When you lose, do not stop. Destroy your rival.

Gin up hate.

Then perspire to delegitimize the enormously accomplished Ms. DeVos who has spread her wealth so effectively through the education system.

Opposing Ms. DeVos’s education policies obviously is a legitimate motivation.

It is mainly her richness, though, that drives libbies crazy. Them there good-sport losers at the insecure New York Times this morning posted an editorial helpfully headlined “Betsy DeVos Teaches the Value of Ignorance.” March on chaps.
