[Sept. 7, 2016 – Letter to Robert A. McDonald, Secretary of the VA Washington, D.C.]
Mr. McDonald,
At the 442nd consecutive Sunday Rally of the Old Veterans Guard to “Save Our Veterans Land” and to “Bring Our Homeless Veterans Home,” an armed VA police officer was ordered by your Department to park a federal government vehicle at the open front entry gate to the Los Angeles National Veterans Home/ public park. He was lying in wait. He spent more than 3.5 hours to illegally surveil, stalk, threaten, discriminate, intimidate and harass us while suppressing and violating our civil and Constitutional rights.
This predator VA cop was recognized as Officer Morales. Previously, he conspired with Officer Reyes in violently assaulting and falsely arresting elderly Vietnam War Veteran Mark Gavin at virtually the same location near the opened front entry gate.
Officer Morales was parked before my arrival at 1 o’clock, and he was parked there throughout our entire Rally until 4 o’clock.
When I departed our Sunday Rally, he illegally surveilled and stalked me as I walked along the sidewalk fence line and crossed San Vicente Boulevard to my car.
He turned his federal government car around, surveilled and stalked me while I was on the sidewalk across the street.
After I loaded my car with our Rally signs and left at 4:30, he was still parked on the VA “Grand Lawn” (which was illegally leased to a wealthy neighborhood group for a public park). He continued to stalk my every move.
We have numerous photos documenting the aforementioned illegal and unconstitutional activity by the VA police department under your supervision.
And let me remind you, last Wednesday the VA’s Dermatology Dept. could not honor my medical appointment after numerous phone calls to get the appointment a week in advance. But on Sunday, VA executive director Ann Brown made sure there was a VA police officer illegally posted in a federal government vehicle at the front entry to the Los Angeles VA to illegally surveil, stalk, threaten, discriminate, intimidate and harass us while suppressing and violating our civil and Constitutional rights.
Moreover, in defiance of your Oath of Office, you have ordered the VA police to illegally prevent us from respectfully displaying the American flag in honor of the men and women who have defended our nation’s colors.
Over the past eight years, we proved in federal court that our peaceful Sunday Rallies were justified in generating a federal judgment adjudicating at least nine VA real estate deals that are “unauthorized by law and therefore void.”
As we continued to protest against your illegal and fraudulent “settlement agreement,” you ordered the Los Angeles VA police to intervene our peaceful Sunday Rallies and illegally confiscate our American flags and falsely arrest us for “displaying a placard.”
Recently, we got 18 of the illegal arrest citations dismissed, and we were acquitted in federal court of any wrongdoing.
Once again, you refuse to accept the rule of law and a court order for our Constitutional right to display the American flag — there is no law against our displaying the American flag.
Now you have illegally ordered VA police to use violence and brutality in illegally arresting and confiscating my cameras as I have legally photographed their illegally seizing our American Flags without cause or warrant.
And while the illegal seizure of cameras and false arrest citations for taking photographs of illegal police activity on a public forum will also be dismissed / acquitted, you have illegally ordered VA police to lie in wait in order to illegally surveil, stalk, threaten, discriminate, intimidate and harass us while suppressing and violating our Civil and Constitutional Rights to respectfully display the American Flag.
What is so blatantly immoral is that the VA cops have illegally surveilled and stalked us from some of the very illegal land-use that was adjudicated in federal court as “unauthorized by law and therefore void.”
Mr. McDonald, you are a West Point graduate and served as a captain in the United States Army. Why aren’t you evicting the illegal and criminal non-Veteran occupants on Veterans land inside the VA instead of illegally and falsely arresting elderly Veterans for displaying our own personal American flags outside the VA?
Because we continue to blow the whistle on and expose more and more crime and corruption behind the biggest land-fraud swindle in American history, we seriously fear for our safety and lives through this illegal retaliation that you have ordered during our Sunday Rallies.
