When his almost-toupee starts to lift above his scalp, you know that Kev de Leon, liberal Democrat, is descending into molten lava again.
Despite his boyish looks, Mr. de Leon is old enough to have lived through the Obama administration – a historical fact to tuck away for a moment.
Last Monday, Mr. de Leon, president pro tem of the state Senate, and his equally liberal pal Anthony Rendon, speaker of the Assembly, went on a witch hunt. The only mystery was which Republican they would dishonestly crucify.
Quick to grasp what is hot in the news, the gents gargled, spat, drew themselves up to their full height, burped and announced they had filed a federal records request with ICE about recent deportations of illegal aliens. They said they are seeking much greater transparency.
The boys are boiling because one of Mr. Obama’s last orders was for ICE to deport 674 illegal aliens. Heaven forbid, they ain’t mad at the worst president in the history of the U.S.
Since the order to send the criminals home was carried out after President Trump’s inauguration, their twisted reverse logic said innocent Mr. Trump should be faulted because he is a Republican.
Here is another sterling illustration of traditional Democrat dishonesty.
Despite his Mexican heritage, Mr. de Leon wasted the eight years of lazy and mean Mr. Obama imitating a tongue-tied deaf mute.
In business this is called fraud.
The fraudulent Mr. de Leon, despite his relatively high political profile, crawled behind his favorite Lenin portrait while Mr. Obama blithely pitched a world record 2.5 illegal aliens back across the border.
Mr. Obama threw away more illegal aliens than all 20th century presidents combined.
Peeking occasionally, Mr. de Leon cowered in a shadowy corner.
Terrified, evidently, Mr. de Leon lacked the courage to even hiccup, much less protest.
Because the senator only protests Republican actions – on orders – and ignores obviously disputable steps such as the mass Obama deports – it is difficult to take Mr. de Leon seriously.
