Two Culver City High School football players took a knee during the National Anthem before last Friday’s game at Santa Monica.

So? So nothing.

They were not interviewed. Their names will not be mentioned here.

Maybe the boys were drained from a hearty day of academics.

Since both performed well in the victory, maybe there is something to the new-fangled notion of working hard in the classroom on Game Day.

What a concept for coaches!

This idea could catch fire if applied to the other four days of the week.
