Beginning this evening for four consecutive evenings, the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts of Culver City High School will perform Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
All stagings will be in Room 108 at Culver High:

- Saturday, matinee at 2 and finale at 7.
This beloved comedy tells the story of the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, the former queen of the Amazons.
It relates the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors (the Mechanicals) who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.
Directed by AVPA Theatre Creative Director, Ms.Kirsten Opstad, the show is perfect for all ages!.
