In its uniquely heroic mission to provide labor opportunities for all persons (of one certain belief), the Los Angeles City Council is pondering a proposal that raises the notion of fairness to its loftiest level.
Councilman Gil Cedillo has produced just the kind of off-base idea you would expect from a proud alum of the People’s College of Law.
What could be fairer, he asked, than to demand that any contractor or company seeking to do business with the city of Los Angeles be forced to disclose whether it has accepted any work on President Trump’s border wall?
Welcome to North Korea, said Kim Jong Cedillo.
Unlucky job-seekers who may have flirted — non-politically – with Mr. Trump’s wall plans, face two ugly choices:
- Fibbing and remaining in the running.
- Telling the truth and automatically eliminating themselves from contention.
Kim Jong Cedillo said he supports free speech rights for all people who agree with his concepts.
An angry, radical leftist of Mexican descent, Kim Jong Cedillo believes all Mexicans should be able to stride across the border at-will into a free country. Whatta concept, eh?
The Los Angeles Times agrees with L.A.’s K.J.
Like most rad leftists, the Times endorses open borders and vigorously opposes returning illegal aliens to their native lands – unless they have committed multiple homicides.
The Times, which has given up news reporting in favor of “analyses,” says building the wall is foolish because smugglers will find alternate routes.
Wrong again, guys. The wall is intended to discourage budding illegal aliens. They may be lovely people. But their unlawful presence scars our once precious country.
