Culver City High School’s basketball and soccer teams – girls and boys — move into the heart of their schedule this week.
They start Ocean League play today with games against El Segundo.
On Friday, the Centaurs will play their second game.
The boys and girls basketball teams and the boys’ soccer team will play at Lawndale. Girls soccer will host Lawndale.
Girls basketball will be on the road Friday at 6. The boys play at 7:30.
The boys soccer game will kick off at 3, and the girls soccer home match will start at 3.
Next week the 9-4 girls basketball team will play in the Martin Luther King Tournament against Ribet Academy on Monday at 2. at Serra High School in Gardena.
On Wednesday they continue Ocean League play at Hawthorne at 6.
Friday, Jan. 20, they host Ocean rival Santa Monica at 6.
The 5-12 boys basketball team will travel to Hawthorne next Wednesday for a 7:30 game.
They return home to play Santa Monica on Friday, Jan. 20, at 7:30.
The 9-5 boys soccer team will hit the road next Wednesday for a match against Hawthorne at 6. They play Santa Monica at home on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6.
The 5-5 girls soccer team will play another home game next Wednesday against Hawthorne at 3 and play at Santa Monica on Friday at 3.
The girls water polo team will host Santa Monica on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Vets Park pool, on Overland Avenue one block south of Culver Boulevard.
