Mr. Tiggs

On Election Day, Tuesday, the Marcus G. Tiggs campaign for City Council will be available to drive seniors and military veterans to the polls.

To request a ride, call Renee de Palma at 310.864.6249.

Additionally, the Tiggs campaign will be having an election night party at the home of Mr. Culver City, Mike Cohen, 4378 Jasmine Ave.

Large screens will display election results and complimentary hors d’oeuvres/beverages will be provided.  Party begins at 8, just as the first election results are released after polls close at 8.

All are invited to stop by and mingle with Mr. Tiggs and his campaign team

Mr. Tiggs’s community involvement spans almost two decades. This includes 12 years of service on the Fiesta La Ballona Planning Committee and eight years as a Planning Commissioner.

Mr. Tiggs says the city hungers for proven leadership, fresh ideas, positive solutions and someone who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves to tackle our future challenges without losing the essence of Culver City.

He has built a range of support, from current elected to appointed community leaders: Councilman Jeff Cooper, Commissioners Scott Zeidman, John Kuechle, Vince Motyl, Janet Hoult and Celeste Anlauf.

The Tiggs list includes former elected city representatives: Steve Rose, Richard Marcus, Alan Corlin, Jozelle Smith, Ed Wolkowitz, Chris Armenta, Patricia Siever and Luther Henderson.  Mr. Tiggs has gained support from the Police Officers Assn., the Chamber of Commerce, BizFed Pac, Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Assn. of Realtors and the apartment owners association of Greater Los Angekes

Mr. Tiggs said the business community and residential support he has gained shows he’s a proven bridge-builder, consensus seeker and gets to heart of the issue.
