The sudden passing of Linda Smith Frost, former Culver City Planning Commissioner, caused great shock and sadness among those who knew and loved her.  Following a two-week illness, she died on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 23, from complications of the flu.

Ms. Smith Frost will be remembered for her warmth and kindness, her lasting friendships, and for her open-mindedness and fairness toward everyone she met.

She will be remembered for her conscientious dedication to doing her best in everything she undertook– from work and career to church and community service, from alumnae activities to concert performances.

Ms. Smith Frost will be remembered for her beautiful smile and infectious laughter, her passion for life and for her family, for her pets, and her piano, and her beloved French horn.

Above all, may she be remembered for her devotion to God, which informed everything she was and did while she was with us.  Now she is with Him.
