[Letter to Vincent Kane, Special Assistant to Secretary Robert A. McDonald, Dept. of Veterans Affairs]
Good morning, Mr. Kane:
The Brentwood Community Council held its monthly meeting and I was unable to attend.
I understand you were present meeting with your usual VA entourage to reassure the “community” that all is well with their “their land.”
On Oct. 1, the VA finally took a semblance of responsibility. They posted a Closed sign to the city of Los Angeles’s illegal occupation of 12 acres of rent free land that belongs exclusively for the housing and care of disabled, homeless Veterans.
However, non-Veteran Cameron Gore, the VA’s ranking federal attorney responsible for enforcing the vacating of such illegal occupation at the Los Angeles VA, went wobbly-legged. He bowed to the pressure of non-Veteran Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Bonin.
Mr. Bonin whined to non-Veteran U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein. She put the kibosh on the VA halting the illegal use of Veterans land.
From Mr. Bonin’s November Newsletter:
“Sen. Dianne Feinstein and her awesome staff heard the community and stepped in to keep the park open while the City and the VA work together to re-envision a veterans-focused but publicly accessible park managed by the City.”
With ISIS and other violent terrorist organizations ratcheting up the Middle East wars, it is likely American military casualties will be escalating. So will the moral responsibility to house them and their war injuries.
Perhaps the ungrateful Sen. Feinstein would like to “re-envision a military-focused but publicly accessible war managed by the city.”
After all, if the community wants to have public access to Veterans’ land, they need to share in the sacrifices for which this land was exclusively deeded … “to be permanently maintained as a National Home for Disabled Soldiers [Veterans].”
So many Veterans have paid an arm and a leg for this exclusive membership. It is time for the community to pay their equal dues if they want public access.
Otherwise, get out. Keep out.
This means you and Cameron Gore.
Neither of you is a Veteran. Your only mission is to serve the wants of your non-Veteran community friends at the expense of the needs of destitute Veterans.
How can the two of you possibly sign the checks to your outrageous six-figure VA salaries paid by the American taxpayers? They trust you to solely serve our Veterans, not non-Veteran interests.
Nothing in American history is so repulsive as witnessing the VA’s out-of-control crimes against humanity on U.S. soil, against Veterans. These Veterans are forced to live homeless in deplorable conditions while community dogs urinate, defecate and fornicate on sacred ground.
You are disgusting.
Vacate this sacred land. Never come back.
God bless America and the Veterans Revolution.
