Liberal racists –a superfluity — launched the abominable, insidious affirmative action program during the regrettable presidency of Lyndon Johnson.
Under the guise of greatly boosting the largely untested minds of black Americans, it was our country’s No. 1 scam until someone thought “climate change” would be a more effective scare tactic.
Democrats have succeeded brilliantly in this perverse quest to embarrass the black community.
Because of the nature of their secondary school, classroom success among today’s (and yesterday’s) black students is more scarce than Culver City rain.
A cynic would conclude that affirmative action was a sly attempt to embarrass the black community by demonstrating – in front of the world – that 95 percent of black students were comprehensively unprepared for the rigors of university life.
The essence of the magic trick was that anyone black who yearned for a college degree would be automatically enrolled, based merely on the color of his skin.
They used to call that racism when Democrats ran plantations and were slave traders.
Contemporarily, liberal owners of manipulable lexicons, brand this dastardly trick as “progress.”
How “progressive,” how gut-wrenching can it be for black collegians, hugely overmatched academically because of inferior secondary educations, to roam from class to class at university knowing that they are at the knowledge bottom in every setting?
This latest example of liberal skullduggery is in the news because the Supreme Court is hearing a case involving a white girl and the University of Texas. Being the wrong color, but owning vastly superior grades, she was not admitted. Properly, she sued.
Liberal racists constantly are alert to brandish decent people with insulting labels.
A couple days ago when the Supreme Court was hearing presentations by both sides, Justice John Scalia, the smartest member on the bench, wisely observed:
Since blacks massively flunk out of top-flight universities, some would be better off enrolling in “slower-track schools.”
Liberal racists, ever hunkered down to pounce, formed a crowd and have been loudly insulting Mr. Scalia for the sin that they created.
