As we have learned – hourly – throughout the past 73 days, the petulance of the left is without borders.
The wannabe Los Angeles Times, failing for years, wrote large to even its most dense readers this morning why it entertains an immutable death wish.
With Mr. Trump’s stunning ascendancy to the presidency scant hours away, the silly Times insulted their readers by ludicrously declaring that the most important story of the day is the most obscure story of the day.
Because the immature editors, essayists and me-too reporters are mad that Hillary decisively lost the election, the Times is going to spend the next four years punishing Mr. Trump for spanking their favorite lawbreaker.
“Washington city sues OxyContin drugmaker,” shouted the Times’s top headline.
Now you must admit, if you are an honest liberal, speaking of oxymorons, that neither you nor I ever thought Everett, WA would sue OxyContin – although Grandma and I have discussed this every evening over dinner since last July.
Just another reminder, dear reader, why normative Americans chose Mr. Trump over the ethically challenged Hill of Beans.
Even the print media’s version of the Ku Klux Klan, The New York Times, displayed rare good sense in headlining their lead story “TRUMP ARRIVES, SET TO ASSUME POWER.”
Never mind that the dopey radicals spit in President Trump’s eye in their front page stories.
Even the smudge-faced USA Today, in the front row of media extremists, beneath a huge photo of Mr. Trump and Melania, ran two pieces:
“TRUMP’S ‘DAY ONE’ WILL LAST MONTHS,” and “Trump’s big test: Finding his voice.”
Like a young boy who finds it impossible to master a two-step dance, the L.A. Times remains hopelessly out of step with its betters. Shame.
“Just another reminder, dear reader, why normative Americans chose Mr. Trump over the ethically challenged Hill of Beans.”
You mean why three million *fewer* “normative Americans” chose Donald Trump over Hilary Clinton?
I hope this isn’t your day job
