Dateline Dayton — It’s a terrible shame that five servicemen lost their lives last week in Chattanooga. This shows the lack of respect for life with the mass killings that have been taking place. In this case, like others, it was an American citizen who, for a reason not yet determined, decided to shoot up military facilities and kill .
I have questions:
- Who was providing him with the funds so he could own a Mustang?
- How was he able to purchase guns and ammunition when he wasn’t employed?
- How did he get though the background check to purchase guns, when he supposedly was being treated for depression? Were the guns supplied or were they purchased illegally?
- Where were his parents when he was purchasing all of this equipment?
- Is depression just sn excuse that his parents are using to take the heat off?
- Again, where were his parents?
- Why did they allow him to have guns if he had a depression problem?
- Why didn’t they turn him in if he had obtained guns illegally?
- Why haven’t they been more vocal about this situation? The parents must do more, must be vocal if they really don’t approve of what their son has done. An attorney speaking for them is not conveying the message they must give to America, their home.
- Why did this family come to America, when they thought sending their son to Jordan, would cure his depression?
- I am glad many states now are allowing military personnel in these recruiting facilities, to have guns.
At times, I think we are returning to the Wild West, only most of the gunman are nuts, NUTS, not just bad guys.
Planned Parenthood is in hot water. I must am not surprised. Maybe the information regarding selling aborted fetuses wasn’t obtained in a proper manner, but the information was provided willingly and now for the second time.
Planned Parenthood could do a lot of good, if they would get out of the abortion business. They could concentrate on being a vehicle, to provide the education on raising a child.
The federal government should stop using my tax dollars to support Planned Parenthood, unless they are willing to stop being an abortion mill.
Obituary
My high school class lost a member, due to a tragic accident. George, a regular at our breakfast get-togethers, was cleaning the gutters on the second story of his home, lost his balance, and fell to his death.
George’s wife was a classmate of Pauline’s. Both of us will be heading to Piqua on Friday night for the visitation and returning again on Saturday for the funeral.
Yes, George’s wife told him not to clean the gutters.
