For a Change, It Is Time for Change

Unlike most businesses, mine either is  absolutely snowed under with clients or I have none. No reason for the rises and dips.  Is there some force that decides who gets what?  Ridiculous.

We are all tasked with creating the life we want. But we are always stuck with the behaviors we get rather than those we want. Why?

Reality is that the person we are is the person we have trained ourselves to be. We are the product of the environment in which we were raised, decisions we have made from age 8 to age 12.

Of our brain power, we use only 5 percent. Of that 5 percent, only 10 percent is our conscious mind, our subconscious being 90 percent. Changing would require the 90 percent changing since 10 percent cannot overcome 90.

This is where hypnosis can help. As we grew, we noticed that when dad was not home, mom was more attentive than when dad was home. A baby understands that. Baby thinks that if he were to behave as dad, mom would love it more and come more quickly.

Reality is we take after our fathers, or if the father is not present, the most dominant male figure. If you do not like who you are, you have a frame of reference where to start. You want to know what you want, want to be and how you want to behave.

Everything about you is stored in your subconscious. You have trained it to give you certain behaviors in certain situations. Hypnosis helps by going into your subconscious and presenting a new image, reinforcing the image with an anchor to help you recognize the unwanted behavior and to reprogram to the behaviors you want.

For example, if you are stressed at work, recognize the cause. Visualize how you want to be, then allow the subconscious to absorb the image.

Squeeze together your thumb and the second finger of your left hand, envision the desired behavior and say “I no longer choose to be that way. Instead I choose to be this way.”

The subconscious begins to understand that the old behaviors are no longer wanted. Remember the more you do it, the quicker change will come.

Since we have a tendency to do things by rote, that creates problems. Change around habits and actions so you feel more aware. Drive to work a different way. Change the wrist for your watch.
