Dear Neighbors,
Consider casting your ballot for Göran Eriksson in Tuesday’s City Council election.
I have worked with Göran on issues involving our schools over the past four years. I have come to admire his ability to combine vision with sense.
He was one of the first supporters of the school facilities school bond Measure CC. He knew that improving our schools not only was the right thing to do for our students and teachers, it was the fiscally responsible choice.
He knew quality schools draw families to live, work and play in Culver City.
Göran has been an invested, engaged member of our Culver City community for over 20 years. He has raised his children here. He owns two businesses here.
He has volunteered untold hours in the community, supporting fiscally sound, innovative solutions to put our neighborhoods first.
Finally and perhaps most importantly, Göran brings a sensibility and sense of humor that enhance collaboration amongst those with differing views.
His impeccable work ethic is coupled with an ease of pragmatism – when combined those two qualities will allow the City Council to work together to continue to build on the work that has been done by previous City Councils.
Our community is so lucky to have a person of Göran’s ability willing to serve.

Mr Eriksson is bombarding us into submission with his constant leaflets, mailers, sponsored posts and digi banners.
There’s a lot of money being put behind this campaign.

Just based on the quantity of glossy mailers I’ve fished out of my mailbox over the past month or so, I’d definitely agree that some serious cash is being spent on the Eriksson campaign. Would be very curious to hear a final price tag on the effort to elect Goran to a council seat.
I bet that if we followed the money, we would likely find some developers behind the never ending glossy mailers of the so-called environmentalists in this race.
