Why does this never happen to liberals?
Bully Covino, formerly Billy Covino, the sissy president of Cal State Los Angeles, last Monday evening flashed the spinelessness that is traditionally associated with left-wing “educators.”
Conservative journalist Ben Shapiro was scheduled to address the campus’s Young Americans for Freedom group yesterday afternoon.
Three days to go, and Bully Covino nervously was perspiring. Trashy radical students at Cal State L.A., who fear and hate competition, were applying standard ugly left-winfg pressure on the easily bullied president.
Finally, by Monday afternoon, Bully Boy, fearing violence by the radicals, decided to run up his always handy white flag.
Standing up crookedly while summoning the authority of an infant born an hour ago, Bully Covino downed a glass of brown-colored liquid. He sat back down, loosened his wrinkled necktie, wiped his reliably runny nose with his shirt sleeve and composed the following email to Young Americans for Freedom, using the language “suggested” by campus rads:
“After careful consideration, I have decided that it will be best for our campus community if we reschedule Ben Shapiro’s appearance for a later date, so that we can arrange for him to appear as part of a group of speakers with differing viewpoints on diversity.
“Such an event will better represent our university’s dedication to the free exchange of ideas and the value of considering multiple viewpoints.”
As a conservative student group noted this week: “Contrary to Covino’s newfound love for the ‘free exchange of ideas’ and the consideration of ‘multiple viewpoints,’ his university has hosted a wide variety of radical liberal speakers without ever bothering to ensure the conservative worldview was represented.”

- Angela Davis and Tim Wise addressed in a video lecture “Exploring Whiteness” this week.
