Paulie Thornton, letters editor of the Los Angeles Times, possesses one of the under-rated sterling minds of global significance.
Paulie knows all. Delving deeply into his scientific bag of tricky knowledge, Paulie announced a few months ago –with management’s backing – that he no longer would authorize the printing of letters from readers skeptical about global climate warming change.
In the immortal words of his parents and numerous admirers, Paulie knows all.
Isn’t this an admirable stand for a Democrat who, as a journalistic face of his party, declares he will not brook contradiction of his singularly enlightened views?
Paulie’s enviable, and obviously invulnerable, opinion about the nuttiness of global climate warming change – or whatever label is fashionable for liberals this week – bobbed back into view with the dawning of Primary Day.
As a bastion of left-wing scholarship, the Times long ago announced it would not report or publicize the views of anyone contradicting its view that President Obama and his minions form the most successful administration in history.
While the overwhelming majority of Americans protest the obvious flaws in Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton, the Times argues daily that she is quintessentially perfect and America will end if he is elected. You know, balanced reporting. Times reporters are prohibited from identifying her lies. The Washington bureau is forbidden to acknowledge the lies of Obama, Clinton and Sanders. Otherwise, there will be another housecleaning.
Isn’t life wonderful beneath a tolerant Democrat regime?
So who do you endorse President of the United States?
You are a climate change denier.
You advise readers to arm against Muslims.
You are constantly attacking ‘Libs’.
You are a misogynist (remember that time you called women Senators ‘whores’? That was a high point).
Seems to me you should come out of the closet and let your users know who you support.
Or would you prefer us to simply come to our own conclusions?
What a great choice we have. An Egomaniac who’s ideas are absolutely unbelievable, or a lying, cheat that should be in jail. If Hillary were a Republican, she probably would be in jail.
