Construction on the Ivy Station transit oriented development project is expected to begin in February.
Metro’s Culver City Station parking lot (between Washington, National, and Venice boulevards) will close about Feb. 6, and construction will continue for the next two years.
During the construction period, alternative parking Downtown will be available at the Ince Parking Garage, 9099 Washington Blvd., or at the nearby La Cienega/Jefferson Metro station.
Parking fees at the Ince Parking Garage will be $3/day for patrons with a recently used TAP card.
“We encourage residents in the area to talk to their neighbors and to the city and decide whether a residential permit parking district is right for them,” said Mayor Jim Clarke.
Neighborhoods that want to implement a residential permit parking district or learn more about the protections they provide may contact Richard Solis in Traffic Engineering at 310.253.5615 or richard.solis@culvercity.org.
The city’s permit parking program requires a block-by-block petition to begin proceedings.
Ivy Station is being developed by Lowe Real Estate Enterprises. Lowe will schedule a public meeting in the near future regarding their construction management plan.
Residents and busineses may visit the News & Events section at www.IvyStationCulverCity.com for further information and to sign up for an e-newsletter.
