West Los Angeles College will host the third semi-annual free financial seminar, “You and Your Money – Decisions for Today and the Future,” on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10:30 to 2:30.
Leader of the seminar will be Charles V. Daniel, assistant professor of accounting, formerly an auditor at the international accounting firm of KPMG. He is a past president of the Los Angeles Professional Chapter of the National Assm. of Black Accountants (NABA).
Addressing students and community members, Prof. Daniel will share information to avoid financial pitfalls and identify doable strategies to recover from financial pitfalls.
The seminar is designed to benefit both those at the start of and persons well into their financial life.
