Come join the fun on Friday evening at 6:30 at the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Dept.’s colorful ceremony to illuminate the Vets Auditorium for the Christmas holidays.
Join Santa for this fun, free holiday event.
Watch from below as the “tree” surrounding the Vets Auditorium tower is illuminated.
After lighting the tower, Santa will arrive on a fire truck.
Photo opportunities with Santa will be available indoors along with holiday crafts and refreshments.
The ceremony takes place at 4117 Overland Ave., next to the film strip fountain.
After the ceremony, guests are welcome inside the Rotunda Room for refreshments, arts and crafts and Santa visits.
Guests are also invited to the Holiday Recital of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Dept.’s recreation classes in the Auditorium, featuring music and dancing.
