[Editor’s Note: Mr. Zeidman sent the following message to parents and supporters of Culver City’s Little League all-stars, seeking a World Series berth in Williamsport, PA.]
The Culver City Major (12-and-under) All-Star team defeated Malibu Little League 11-5 last Thursday, advancing to the District 25 winner’s bracket championship game against defending champions West Los Angeles Little League.

The winner’s bracket championship game will be held on Friday at 6 o’clock at West L.A. Little League, 1411 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles 90024. The field is north of the corner of Sepulveda and Ohio.
Friday’s winner will advance to the District 25 championship on Monday, with the losing team having to play on Sunday, and then defeat the winner twice (Monday and Tuesday) to advance.
As the host team, West L.A. not only knows their field better than anyone, but will bring out a large contingency of fans to the game.
It would be fantastic if Culver City were able to pack the stands with enthusiastic supporters.
