To prepare voters for Culver City’s Nov. 3 School Board election, the League of Women Voters’ Culver City Unit will present a candidates’ forum next week.
The league will question Prof. Kelly Kent, Anne Burke and Scott McVarish on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7 o’clock in Council Chambers. The forum will be televised live on the City Channel, and it will be replayed several times before the election.
This league’s forum will be a roundtable conversation led by former School Board member Julie Lugo Cerra.
Candidates will discuss current issues of greatest concern to them and to voters.
