Paul Goldstein, general manager of Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, has been selected chairman of the board of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce for the new year.
Mr. Goldstein heads one of the largest not-for-profit organizations in Greater Culver City. The Jewish cemetery is perhaps best known as the final resting place of Al Jolson.
The Chamber’s installation breakfast will be Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Double Tree by Hilton.
Hillside has been on Centinela Avenue since 1941 and became a part of Culver City in a 1964 annexation.
Serving with Mr. Goldstein on the Chamber’s Executive Committee will be Janice Beighey, third- generation owner of Tower Insurance, the Chair-elect for 2018.
The Executive Committee consists of five vice chairs –
- Kristin Cavanaugh, Sony Pictures Entertainment,
- Kyle Jones, LPL Financial Advisors,
- Kevin Lachoff, Knight Frank Commercial Real Estate,
- Geoff Maleman, Maleman Ink, and
- Don Ziss, general manager of Westfield Culver City.
Present Chair Colette Moore, owner of PrideStaff, will serve as Immediate Past Chair.
Newly and reelected board members include Ms. Beighey, Ms. Cavanaugh, Gabriela Flores, Cedars-Sinai, Michael Hamill Grandview National, Rich Hibbs, CPA, Cedric Joins, New York Life, Rich Kissel, Keller Williams, Mr. Jones, Geoff Maleman, Daniele Martin, Culver City Honda and Albert Vera, Sorrento Italian Market.
