‘Everything Old’ at WLAC

Dan Cytron, recently featured in the film “One Artist’s POV” by Sally Geti, is the solo artist in the current West Los Angeles College gallery show “Everything Old Is New Again,” curated by Molly Barnes.

The show runs Jan. 31.

Mr. Cytron, a talented abstract painter, is a past recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship grant. He has exhibited widely throughout California and across the country.

He has been a guest lecturer for UCLA and UCSB, and he served as a guest curator for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Mr. Cytron’s reviews have appeared in Los Angeles magazine, Artweek and the Los Angeles Times.

The curator Ms. Barnes is an art dealer and radio personality..

She is an artist-in-residence at West. In addition to sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge with the college’s aspiring artists, she coordinates free exhibits and lectures that are open to the public.

West Los Angeles College is at 9000 Overland Ave.
