Camille Cosato, a fifth-grader at Farragut Elementary School, has repeated as School District Spelling Bee champion this year.
Culver City Middle School sixth-grader Reshma Sheikh earned second place and La Ballona Elementary School fifth-grader Zachary Kronlage came in third.
The Spelling Bee was sponsored by the Fineshriber Family Foundation.
Executive Director Marcia Antopol was on hand for the competition and to present the awards.
Culver City Education Foundation arranged for the sponsorship and leaders commended every student who stood up to spell before the crowd.
