The digital revolution has changed the economic face of Culver City as creative, tech and new media businesses increasingly have made Culver City their home.
On Thursday at 12 noon at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 6161 W. Centinela Ave., the Chamber of Commerce will host a panel discussion about how the digital revolution has impacted the city’s changing economy.
Moderated by KNBC Channel 4 host Conan Nolan, the lunchtime event will feature business and government leaders.
Among them will be Aliza Karney Guren, CEO of Karney Management Company, Michael Hackman, owner of Hackman Capital Partners and The Culver Studios, Jo Muse, Chairman/CEO of Muse Communications, John Nachbar, City Manager of Culver City, and Elias Plishner, EVP of Digital Marketing at Sony Pictures.
Sponsored by Sony Pictures Entertainment, this event is intended to educate participants on the economic future of Culver City, with information about the city’s municipal broadband project, the industries and technologies that are driving the economy locally and globally, and how property owners are anticipating the next wave of the digital economy in Culver City.
