Climate Change Theatre Action comes to the Ann and Jerry Moss Theatre, at New Roads School, 3131 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica.
Climate Change Theatre Action – a special promotion during November and December in support of the United Nations’ Paris Climate Conference this month — is a series of worldwide readings and performances intended to bring foster discussion about climate change.
Belinda Waymouth, environmentalist, actress and Huffington Post blogger, will be this evening’s host.
Joshua Fisher, NASA climate scientist with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will be the featured speaker.
While Paul Lacques and Mike Tempo will provide live music, readings from an international group of playwrights will be Chantal Bilodeau, Catherine Butterfield, Darrah Cloud, John DiFusco, Dipika Guha, Marilyn Haese, E.M. Lewis, Neil LaBute, Elyne Quan and August Schulenburg.
