[Editor’s Note: After the County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1-1 last week to endorse President Obama’s plan to admit tens of thousands of Syrian refugees, Mr. Walsh, Our Man at City Hall, engaged in a nasty shouting match with Supervisor Sheila Kuehl. He sharply criticized what he called “this all-Gentile board” for approving a plan to allow what Mr. Walsh called a flood of anti-Semites (Muslims) into the country from Syria. He said that 58 percent of hate crimes are committed against Jews, 3½ times as many as are targeted at Muslims. Mr. Walsh called Ms. Kuehl a “scumbag.” After pointing out she is a Jew, and that her mother (a key determinant) is a Jew, the 74-year-old Ms.Kuehl called Mr. Walsh an unprintable name.]

Why is has-been actress Sheila Kuehl, who played Zelda on the Dobie Gillis television series more than half a century ago, lately acting really nutty at L.A. County Board of Supes meetings?

Perhaps the 4-foot 10-inch, 250-pounder is suffering from a bad reaction to those diet drugs she’s gobbling.

If you are unfamiliar with the washed-up performer that I’m referring to here, you might try asking your grandparents or great-grandparents about Ms. Sheila K!

Find out what all that shouting was about that interrupted last week’s Board of Supervisors  meeting by watching the official video of the fracas to be found at Kevin Roderick’s losangelesobserved.com
