My mind usually starts out with a BLANK.
It’s usually Thursday morning, and I’m sitting at my computer, wondering what to write about this week.
I am asking myself, “What stands out in my mind? An event? A feeling? A moral? An object? Something? Anything!?!
Not to worry. Not to panic. An idea will come. It always has before.
Okay – I’ll just name some things that pop into my mind. That should help.
travel
friends
camera
eyeglasses
tea
Prevention Magazine (that’s a good one)
pens
the Print Screen key (another good one)
my calendar
Okay – Prevention Magazine. That one seems to excite me the most right now. I enjoy writing about things that excite me. I suppose it’s my way of letting you know who I am. By the way, one day I’ll tell you my real name.
Prevention Magazine (aka Amazing Tidbits)
It’s like a Reader’s Digest for keeping you in top shape, and THRILLING you with its tidbits of wisdom.
You flip the page and, VOILA! – ANOTHER great tidbit of information. Did you know that adding a little juice (orange, lemon, pineapple) to your green tea improves the antioxidant value of the tea by 13 times? BTW, a search for “Green Tea” on the Prevention website yields 277 references.
What little tidbit will be next? – just past the ad for some heart medication. There it is – Did you know that garlic eaters (vs. placebo eaters) were two-thirds less likely to catch a cold.
What’s that? You think I don’t like reading normal-sized, non-tidbit health articles? I guess you’re right. I‘m just a tidbit sort of guy when it comes to covering the whole area of human health.
In fact, there are so many great tidbits in this magazine that I save every copy to re-read while waiting for the next edition to arrive.
In fact, I love books of facts.
“Did you know . . .?” But enough already.
Have a great day!
