Fellow Americans and Friends of Veterans,

First Lady Michelle Obama yesterday declared a “moral outrage” that 58,000 Veterans across America are homeless.  While that figure is conservative, in November 2009 the President and the ex-VA Secretary promised to end all Veteran homelessness within five years, or by November 2014.

The latest claim of moral outrage is too little too late.

Attached are two letters sent to the President exposing the misconduct of Donna Beiter, the Los Angeles VA director. The letters respectfully request him to drop the challenge of his Dept. of Justice's fighting the ACLU lawsuit that was filed on behalf of homeless Veterans in Los Angeles.

“Your Department of Justice and U.S. Attorneys are aggressively fighting the lawsuit and this is simply unacceptable. In fact, it is unconscionable. As Commander-in-Chief of our United States Armed Forces, please advise your DOJ that taking care of our disabled Military Veterans is not a legal challenge. It is a moral responsibility. Respectfully, please withdraw your Administration’s defense, posthaste.”

A federal judgment was entered against former Secretary Shinseki and Ms. Beiter, and President Obama's DOJ has shamefully appealed the Judgment.

Yes, President Obama, it's a moral responsibility for our government to provide proper housing and care for disabled and homeless Veterans, and not a legal challenge to deny them of humane shelter and a safe haven for healing from their war injuries.

Yes, Mrs. Obama, it is a moral outrage that your husband's administration is fighting the very lawsuit that would greatly diminish Veteran homelessness in our nation's capital for homeless Veterans.

Yes, fellow Americans, President Obama needs to declare a “State of Emergency” for our war-injured and impoverished Veterans who are homeless, hungry and forced to live in inhumane conditions on skid row and back alley-squalor.

Emergency shelter is not an option, it's the only solution.

Too little too late is not a strategy, it's a moral outrage!

Attached is a homeless Veteran Humanitarian Relief Project along with a transitional and permanent housing plan.

Please express public moral outrage that our government has failed our Veterans in every manner imaginable.

God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!
