Weissman Will Be a Unifier Between City Hall and School District

Letters to the EditorLetters

With budget cuts at the state level impacting city and School District funding, it will be even more important for the two governing bodies to communicate and work cooperatively.

City Council candidate Andy Weissman has the background and ability to recognize important topics, listen and clearly articulate issues. He has successfully worked on boards, commissions and committees. These qualities will be an asset for the school district- city relationship.

In addition, Andy has spent many years working for the children in our community. For example, he’s been active with the Culver-Palms YMCA

He’s volunteered his services to groups, which support the school district such as ALL EM, the Culver City Education Foundation, and the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center. Thus, he values children and public education.

These are just some of the reasons why I wholeheartedly support Andy for a seat on the City Council. Our city would be very fortunate to have someone of Andy’s character and experience working for us at City Hall. Please join me on Tuesday in voting for Andy Weissman.

Ms. Beagles-Roos is a member of the School Board.
