She Scores Cooper for Bad Judgment and Taking Too Much Credit

Letters to the EditorLetters

I’m reading the campaign literature, I’m listening to the candidates and I’m reading the newspapers.

I'm confused.

City Council candidate Jeff Cooper states he founded the Bone Yard. I thought it was a group
called the Friends of the Culver City Dog Park who founded it?

I’m concerned about one person who takes credit for a group effort.

I do not think his march on Brotman Hospital was well thought out, and likely had the opposite of the desired effect. I think this march brought
fear to our residents, a fear of bad service, making residents less likely to go there. Our residents deserve better than someone who uses
fear tactics to try to manipulate them.

Mr. Cooper, bringing out the problems of a fine institution like Brotman is no way to save Brotman Hospital.

He states he is a man of action. Action is wonderful. It is too bad he does not think first and act second.

We need a Council member who
shows better judgment.

Mr. Cooper says how important safety services are to our community. Neither
the police officers nor the firefighters endorsed him. It makes me wonder?

I trust the voters will look past his pretty face and be smart enough to listen to his words and see his ill-conceived actions.
