May this new year bring you and your loved ones happiness, health, peace and prosperity. As we embark on another new year, you are invited to come together to discuss our shared vision for genuine community empowerment and to create strategies for effective leadership at the 23rd annual Empowerment Congress Summit.

We will convene on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 o’clock.
 
Join me at USC’s Bovard Auditorium for the plenary session.

This year's plenary session's keynote speaker is Prof. Cornel West. The Summit will also include workshops on topics such as arts, child welfare, community development, early education, environment and child trafficking.
 
The event is free, but advance registration is required.
