Don’t Raze the Natatorium

Letters to the EditorLetters

Recently it has come to my attention that the current School Board plans to demolish the Natatorium and replace it with a multi-use structure.

This is the most inane plan I have heard.

The Natatorium could be a revenue-generating facility if they would only plan for it. Isn't the Robert Frost Auditorium a multi-use facility that is underutilized? Questions need to be asked. Something just does not make sense.

I so wish I could be there to join the fight, but I live in New Jersey. Our district could use a facility like the Natatorium.  The plan to demolish is very questionable. I urge the School Board to take their time. Look at keeping and restoring the Natatorium at an estimated cost of about one-third of what their plan would cost.
