There were newcomers who only recently discovered our lovely town, old-timers who have lived all their lives in Culver City and lots of folks in between.

     I, myself, have been a resident for twenty-three years, and I have voted in every local election. Yet it was really impressive for me to see how diverse Scott’s appeal is, how many different groups he has worked with, volunteered for and assisted in some way.

     And how many people responded to his dedication, energy and caring personality by supporting his candidacy. He really personifies, for me, “a man of the people.”
