Why Half of Israel’s Population Has Disappeared

In America, the tiny Jewish population falls into one of two categories:

  • Those whose primary application of their Jewishness is political – idolizing the Democrat du jour.  Religious beliefs are nonexistent, especially in crucial moments.
  • The second and smaller grouping take Jewishness, whether religiously or culturally, as their primary identity. Political beliefs are strictly secondary or tertiary.
The former think that President Obama is doing a terrific job of putting uppity Jews in their place whenever an heroic Arab bumps off a few of them.

This powerfully deep, longstanding fissure arose this morning with the muted-in-America-for-our-delicate-ears news that 50 percent of Israel’s population now has been forced to live out of sight, underground in bomb shelters.

Almost four million people.

Try to find this not insignificant fact in your favorite daily newspaper.

Yesterday the punk terrorists of Hamas fired between 190 and 200 rockets into tiny Israel. Israeli websites tell us that in their traditional style, the Hamas terrorists order women and children to stand near them as they launch the rockets – knowing, hoping that the Israel Defense Forces will stand by their historic mantra of never firing at civilian targets.

Hamas, those prancing purveyors of terrorism, has been bathing in worldwide sympathy since laughingly joining the terrorist Palestinian Authority government of Mahmoud Abbas during the spring.

From the left to the right, American journalists traditionally and presently have feared offending the Muslim Monster by calling the two-bit thugs of Hamas and its killer cousins “terrorists.” So they settle for the sappy copout of “militants.”

Who could object? Certainly not the earth’s typically reasonable Muslim Monsters.
Do you see how these human vermin garb themselves?  Childishly, they hide their identities behind flamboyantly colored rags around their heads. They are afraid of being fingered when they aren’t trying to kill Jews.

Yet all American newspaper readers have been treated to for days is not the East Jerusalem Arab kid killed, evidently, by Jewish extremists but rather photos and lengthy stories about the punk Florida Arab teenager apparently beaten up by Israeli police.

Given the filthy history of Arabs/Muslims for lying about Jewish brutality, careful observers want to reserve their opinions.
