Duh No. 24: Searching Gmail on my iPhone5

I could not search my Gmail on my iPhone using my Mail app. I had to go to my desktop iMac to do that. Then last week I added Google’s Gmail app. Duh – there it was: “Search”!

Duh No. 25: Large iPhone Text with Google Searches

Funny but I never could figure out why the text sometimes was large, sometimes small on the iPhone searches I made using Google. I like the large text – it means I don’t have to strain my eyes. Last week, for some reason, I thought I would turn my iPhone sideways and t back again. Duh – and each time I did that, there was the beautiful large print!

Duh No. 26: No more Tylenol PM

It has been impossible for me to break my “addiction” to half a Tylenol PM pill each night. This week I diligently packed up several Tylenol PM half-pills for our trip East. When we got to our destination, the little pack of pills was drenched – from a spilled water bottle. Duh – I went five nights without the pill. Tonight will make six!

Duh No. 27: The Japanese Pagoda Tree

Last year after complaining that I could not find a Victorian Box tree anywhere, I found lots of them in my mom’s old backyard. The Japanese Pagoda tree, another tree I could not find here in L.A., was listed as being in a botanical garden in the town we were visiting. At first, I thought had to see it. But, instead, I decided to watch my almost 6-year-old grandson play Little League baseball. When we got to the ball field – duh – there was a long line of Japanese Pagoda trees right behind the bleachers where we sat!
