Manipulation Time

Ms. Arellano, you will recall, is the convicted, family-flaunting illegal immigrant who last month arrogantly left the safety of the church of a Protestant bozo in Chicago, the Irreverent Walter Coleman, to fly to Los Angeles to bring attention to the cause of illegal immigration.

Her plan, she said, was to get arrested — and be deported if necessary — to shine attention on her foul cause.

Used to be that you safely could assume public figures would at least claim to be against lawbreaking for fear of being scorned and shunned by decent persons.

In the last couple of years, that has sharply changed, as you shall shortly see.

How About a Pillow, Mr. Mayor?

She came to the City of the Angels where the round-heeled mayor — being a liberal and a minority — is correctly convinced he is bullet-proof in the media. Therefore, when he staggers away from the property of the latest Girl du Jour, he heads downtown to lead parades in support of the cause of illegal immigration for the enlightenment of us boobs who think, foolishly, laws should be obeyed.

Before the last year or two, who ever heard of such a thing?

We should be thankful for small favors from heaven, though.

He Might Have Turned Italian

Mayor I Love Me could have been in office 80 years ago when Sacco and Vanzetti were the rage, the toast of the lawbreaking crowd. Had he been in charge of the City of the Angels in the 1920s, Mayor I Love Me would have passed himself off as an Italian and marched in a parade that promoted the notion of rewarding Italians for killing people rather than punishing them.

I have not visited the home of the woman Mayor I Love Me intends to sleep with tonight. But I will take a hefty guess that one condition of her getting to sleep with him called for construction of a shrine to Elvira Arellano.

Were We Married?

Ms. Arellano appears to be incapable of shame, which suggests that I should check my own records more closely because we may have been married once. I know I had at least one wife with that failing.

It will be recalled that when the brazen, narcissistic Ms. Arellano left Los Angeles for Tijuana a couple of weeks ago on the oxygenic wings of publicity, she traveled alone.

I understand how you might forget your favorite shoehorn. Or a book. But how do you forget your 8-year-old son when you only have one child?

Trophy Kid Suffers

The answer is, of course, that the Bad Mother of the Year did not forget the Pathetic Child of the Year. Upon professional advice, Ms. Arellano left her son behind, giving her another shot at milking the publicity machine when she was ready to reclaim him.

I would not be surprised if she forces the child to sleep on the roof of wherever she beds down to ward off bombers.

The cynical, disgusting woman was pictured in Saturday’s editions cuddling her son who, presumably, does not know any better. What would he do if he did?

Two Shameless Losers

Finally, my candidates for the two most grossly misguided boobettes in our town, one Grace Dyrness and the aptly named Clara Irazabal, teamed to write a weepy-eyed opinion piece on Sunday for the Los Angeles Times hailing illegal immigration and the sanctuary movement

Perhaps they, too, are bad mothers. This could be why they felt inspired to defend Ms. Arellano and the other illegal immigrants who are poisoning Southern California and the contiguous 48 states.

Professors of Lawbreaking

It will not surprise you to learn these two moral lowlifes are professors at USC. Loose lady profs. I would never label them prostitutes for their upside-down cause. Ladies who turn tricks have higher standards.

In lauding the convicted lawbreaker Ms. Arellano, the ladies wrote: “It takes courage and a willingness to serve a larger cause to play this role.”

Don’t Bust Apart Families

But my favorite two lines were these: “The New Sanctuary Movement was not formed to provide Rather, by showcasing the circumstances of a few individuals who voluntarily come forward to claim sanctuary, it hopes to call attention to the plight of millions of immigrants who live in fear of arrest and separation from families.”

Imagine that, lawbreakers living “in fear of arrest.” What will they think of next?

My pet line comes at the end — Don’t arrest illegals because that will break apart families of illegals.

The chutzpah of that formulation defies comment from rational people.
