At 23-5, the Culver City High School girls basketball team is one win away from reaching the CIF finals.
The Lady Centaurs play top-seeded Orange Lutheran on Tuesday evening at 7 at Culver City. The winner will play for the CIF Division 2A Championship Friday afternoon at 3:30 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
To qualify for the semi-finals, the Centaurs ran past Mayfair 53-33 and beat Moorpark 47-39.
If Culver City reaches the finals, they will play either Murrieta Valley or Redondo Union. If they play Redondo, it will be a showdown between South Bay teams.
Orange Lutheran comes into Tuesday’s game with a record of 24-5 that includes three lopsided playoff victories. They beat Baldwin Park, 58-18, Norco, 58-23, and Valley View, 59-28.
