Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans:

Why would a small group of elderly Veterans show up every Sunday afternoon for the past four-and-a-half years to hold a protest rally on the outside of the VA?

It's because of public events like the one that took place last Saturday on the inside of the VA.

Here is a link to the jazz festival at the West LA VA to “honor our disabled and homeless veterans.” http://www.westlosangelesjazzfestival.com/

Besides being a terrible insult, this is just another “non-profit” money-making scam on the backs of disabled and disadvantaged Veterans who are having their land prostituted for non-Veteran use.

How do you “honor” homeless and disabled Veterans while you're on their land having a festival for $135 per ticket and they're outside struggling to survive on the dangerous streets of LA, homeless and hungry?

At Saturday's event, they expected 4,000-plus these sacred grounds (mostly non-Veterans) while tens of thousands of disabled and disadvantaged Veterans have been exiled from their legally deeded Home and forced to live homeless and hungry on skid row and in back alley squalor.

It's time for the VA bureaucrats to stop making a mockery of homeless Veterans in Los Angeles.

It’s time for the Congress, FBI and VA Office of Inspector General to begin a full investigation of the land fraud scams, crime and corruption taking place on these sacred grounds.

At Saturday’s event, alcohol, marijuana and inappropriate sexual behavior were expected to be coming along with the crowd.

No cameras or videos were allowed to capture the truth. They had their own “security” and not VA Police.

Let us not forget how armed VA police were sent to the “outside” of the VA – where we peacefully protest – to photograph, harass, intimidate the Old Veterans Guard and issue false arrest citations while trampling on our Constitutional right to free speech. (See the accompanying photos.)

The FBI, Congress and VA Office of Inspector General need to put as much emphasis on the crimes being committed inside the VA as the non-crimes that were never committed on the outside.

Attend next Sunday’s 236th consecutive Sunday Rally to “Save Our Veterans Land,” and to “Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME.”

It is 1 to 4 o’clock at the northeast corner of Wilshire and San Vicente boulevards.
