United Parents Will Deliver Their Endorsements Next Month

United Parents of Culver City has announced its candidate endorsement process for next November’s School Board election.

Any parent or individual interested in running for a School Board position is invited to complete and return the UPCC Candidate Questionnaire by May 8.

Questionnaires may be solicited by sending an email to pac@UnitedParentsCulverCity.com.

Note that solicitation of – or answers to – the questionnaire may be made public by UPCC.

Additional details:  

  1. Interviews will be offered by the UPCC Political Action Committee, as appropriate, between May 9 and May 13.
  2. UPCC will support, oppose or remain neutral on each candidate who completes its endorsement process. UPCC may oppose or remain neutral on any candidate who does not complete endorsement process.
  3. UPCC will make its endorsement(s) public during May.

United Parents of Culver City gives parents a voice in promoting an educational culture that places the interests of students before those of adults.

Founded in May 2012, UPCC is working to shift the role of parents in education by joining together across schools to be effective parent leaders who join together in a unified voice. UPCC’s Political Action Committee (PAC) organizes the financial and political power of parents to support candidates and issues that promotes an agenda focusing on the students first in our city and School District.
