He had a dream…

At 11:30 this morning, the 50th anniversary of the 1963 Civil Rights March On Washington for Justice and Jobs, for the Descendants of Chattel Slaves, i.e. Blacks – Negroes (Spanish for black), will be commemorated on the south lawn of Los Angeles City Hall, 200 N. Main St.

This event is not a protest, but rather a commemoration and remembering of the prophetic call of young, social-spiritual prophet, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for this “nation of immigrants,” via its “bank of justice,” is to cash the Promissory Note, or someday experience “a rude awakening” should the nation “…return to business as usual,” seeking so-called “God-given” individual rights to pursue true freedom and the personal American dreams.

Apparently, 50 years since this great prophetic utterances, it appears that our beloved America is being rudely awakened, given the presence of the Obama “thing” in heart of the nation’s power structure; the invasion of non-militaristic, invasion and occupation of the United States by civilian, foreign nationals; the Jihadic Islamic incursion; the dissolution of solution of society; as well as other Biblically defined calamities that comes upon a self-professing, Judeo-Christian nation.

“Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual.” – MLK’s “I Have A Dream” speech.

The young spiritual-social prophet proclaimed that if the business proposition that America has with God, that Abraham Lincoln spoke of in the Gettysburg Address and upon which relies the existence of this New Nation, is not completed, it will be rudely awakened into a consciousness of utter confusion as is presently experienced.

However, in this awakening, ironically it is revealed that the descendants of chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors, disproportionately, and too often numerically, lead all other ethno-racial demographics in nearly every negative social statistic of this “nation of immigrants”, which is why there exists the Promissory Note.

This morning’s two-hour rally is not a protest against the governments, nor undocumented immigrants, but the Compancinos and Companeros are encouraged to participate to learn and understand the history and contribution of American black citizens as descendants of unwilling immigrants, i.e. chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors, and help to call for the “cashing” of the Promissory Note. See “I Have A Dream.”

In this unprecedented season of racial awareness in the United States, it is imperative that some sense of reason begins to emerge for the sake of the nation’s survival. Hence, the Promissory Note Civil Rights March and Rally.

By far, most immigrants (legal or undocumented) are not aware of the deep chattel slavery-race “wound” that they have inherited by entering into the jurisdiction of the United States by whatever means, and are inadvertently intertwined with the destiny of the peoples upon whose back this “nation of immigrants” is built. It’s sort of like buying a haunted house.

Etched deep into the genetic memory codes of generations yet to come are 225 years of dehumanizing chattel slavery, followed by 99 years of Black Codes-Jim Crow’ism – legislated racism, and 48 more failed government, social policies and programs. It is no wonder that these peculiar and consistently controversial Americans are in a devastating predicament.

In acknowledgement of its love for Dr. King and his words, and as it watches what appears to be the sunset on the existence American black citizens, “now is the time…”, even the “fierce urgency of now…”, for this “nation of immigrants” to strive multi-racially-ethnic-culturally together to specifically heal the matter of chattel slavery and its generational aftermath for the sake of the country they immigrated to, lest it be no more.

Therefore, we want all peoples regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or none, political persuasion, social-class status, gang sets, to come, see and hear out of their own mouths, the stories of the most unique peoples of America, and how the “nation of immigrants” can find common ground for unity in this matter.

Finally, in acknowledgement of Jan. 21,2013, when President Obama took his second oath of office, he made it on the respective Bibles of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. We have belief that he will acknowledge this event and execute the means by which the descendants of the chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors are comprehensively rescued according to the mandates of the U.S. Constitution’s 14th Amendment-1866 Civil Rights Act.

Remember the haunting words of Malcolm X, aka, Malik El Hajj Shabazz , when he was warned in 1963. He said that “that the Negro had been bamboozled.”

Join with us in this sacred celebration commemorating that great day 50 years ago, and though there have been severe setbacks, at least this “nation of immigrants” will keep them conscientious for justice.
