Sometimes when I am in the middle of a challenging situation, it is difficult for me to talk about it. I find when I share that I project an energy (whether that be fear, anger, or something else) I do not want to perpetuate.

I used to think that talking released emotion. Now I see that as only partially true. I find that creating something to work my way out of the emotion is sometimes a better solution.

Two weeks ago, my cat started experiencing medical difficulties. After three different vets and a scary diagnosis, I stopped listening and went on my own search for the answer.

Today, my cat is well on her way to recovery. Knowing what to look for now, I don't see indicators of the diseases mentioned. I see a beautiful, regal 17-year old feline with a temporary condition.

This is all the world need know. I am glad this time I did not share the scary what-ifs. I began three new songs instead.
