This poem is for you from the bottom of my heart.
Headline: For Ari and Diane
When prayers don’t seem to be answered
When our dreams and our goals have crashed
When we think we just can’t handle it
There is someone whose words won’t be quashed
The person who’s been given the bad news
Who’ll be dealing with declining health
Yet, who manages to lift up our spirits
Then we realize just how much wealth
We have in our family relationships
How our partners in life help us cope
Knowing that they’ll be suffering with us
Yes, our loved ones keep giving us hope.
