Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans,
Finally, Donna Beiter has retired, but not without giving another bogus plug for her wealthy friends at Veterans Park Conservancy about the so-called “integrated Health and Healing Center” that is supposedly linked with the rose garden and Hollywood amphitheater.
The “acting director” is already acting like Donna Beiter when she signed off on the bogus “license” agreement to continually building the illegal amphitheater.
Ralph Tillman – Gone.
Donna Beiter – Gone.
Veterans Park Conservancy – Gone.
County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky – Gone.
U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman – Going.
“Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.”
God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!

Subject: A Message from the Director to All Staff
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to respectfully announce my retirement from VA and GLA effective December 31, 2014. I have worked in health care for over 40 years, for VA for almost 30 years and for GLA for 20 years. I have held many positions from staff nurse to CEO. My career has been extremely rewarding, and especially fulfilling has been the true honor of providing health care to Veterans! With the recent unexpected death of my husband, now seems like the right time to move to the next phase of my life…retirement and spending more time with my four beautiful grandchildren.
The most difficult part of this decision will be leaving you – the wonderful GLA staff. Your commitment to our Veterans in quality patient care, education and research is outstanding and unmatched. You have strongly supported my vision and passion of transforming GLA to a culture of Patient Centered Care through improvements and innovations in a dedicated and unwavering manner. Our successes in Patient Centered Care have been great and far too many to mention. However, the opening in March 2015 of the first VA Integrative Health and Healing Center on the GLA WLA campus will be a monumental Patient Center Care achievement. I want to thank you for your personal commitment to our GLA goals during my time as your Director and for always putting the Veterans first. Please continue to be the best Patient Centered VA in the country – you and our Veterans deserve it. Thank you again for being such a great staff! I will always have fond memories of my years at GLA and all the hard work and improvements we made together to better the lives and health care of our Veterans.
Best of luck and success for the future, Donna.
