This weekend was a perfect example of how my greatest happiness comes from the “little” things.

From a run on the beach to multiple naps in a day to a sunny hike with my husband to a delicious seared ahi meal to teaching a dedicated student to attending a friend’s wedding celebration, my holiday weekend couldn’t have been better.

Occasionally I get lost in big dreams of Egyptian vacations, world tours, best-selling albums, and dream homes. Always, though, when I open my eyes, I see that what I love best about my life is happening all around me right now. What a way to live!
