Please don’t throw out the Calderon baby with the Central Basin District bath water.

Are the triple-threat Calderon Brothers indirectly funneling money to the Hon. Quentin Kopp, former S.F. Supervisor, former state senator, former judge, by way of his offspring, Shepard Kopp, Esq.?

The FBI is taking some big bites out of the tender ankles of the Brothers Calderon, which is why Tom Calderon is “consulting” slick L.A. mouthpiece Shepard Kopp, son of Ret. Judge Kopp.

This raises a slew of sticky questions about judicial ethics.

Is the esteemed Quentin Kopp, after a long, distinguished political/judicial career up there in the Bay Area, now quietly advising his No. 1 son Shepard (for pay or not) on how to wriggle client Tommy Boy Calderon off the FBI Sacto fishhook down here in LaLa Land?

Is the San Francisco media sphere much more interested in devoting itself to the silly coverage of the latest Bad Boy Willie Brown brouhaha connected to the Bay Bridge naming rights than covering this un-folding mega-scandal?

“Ho-hum already,” seems to be the reaction of too many beak-less news hawks both North and South?

Why was L.A. Legal Eagle Shepard Kopp retained (operating below the press radar, as usual) to try to shepherd  Tom (In-Up-to-His-Scandalous-Tush) Calderon unscathed through the statewide FBI minefield aimed primarily at his kid brother Ron?

Contract-wise, isn't Clay Pigeon Protection from the clutches of the FBI the large print portion of the highly-paid Shepard K's contract job description?

Once more…What  is the motivation  behind FBI Co-Target Big Brother Tom Calderon's  use of L.A. Mouthpiece Shepard Kopp-the-Political-Op besides cushioning the future shock for his Little Brother Ronny Boy?

Is it mere coincidence that the Calderon Triumvirate's choice of Special Pleader Shepard Kopp is the pride and joy of the not-so-long-ago bench-warming Northern California Judge Quentin Kopp?

Is this former local S.F. pol as well as termed-out Sacramento officeholder – now Private Citizen Quentin Kopp – prepared to offer a few on-the-sly valuable pointers and big dollops of insider knowledge to his ace criminal lawyer son Shepard in order to get his kid's high-rolling  (shady?) client Tom Calderon out of imminent indictment peril along with his higher-profile brother?

Are Tom's Shepard Kopp and Ron's Mark Geragos working together as a super-lawyer team in defense of the nefarious Calderon Family? Mr. Geragos is providing the bulk of the brains while Shepard is providing the good looks plus those heavyweight connections.

Some answers, please, why fearful Ron's brother (and partner in quasi-crime?) Tom Calderon, when finding himself in a super- tight spot of his own doing, decided to make such a surprising  legal representation move while our website digs deeper and deeper into this grave criminal matter?

At shepardlaw.com, check out the Rouge’s Gallery list of Shephard Kopp Esq.’s past clients. Ron is in really bad company. By the way, is that a hairpiece Shepard is sporting? Just asking.

Is the Golden State Media Sphere issuing this Odd Couple of Kopps a pass from journalistic scrutiny?

Has Criminal Attorney Mr. Shepard S. Kopp just pocketed a five-figure(?) retainer to begin legally shielding FBI Person of Interest, former Assemblyman Tom (Water Boy_ Calderon from any future FBI-contemplated prosecution.

Is Ron Calderon pulling the strings for his bad-blood brother Tom, hoping that retired Superior Court Judge Quentin L. Kopp might be asked by his devoted son Shepard  to whisper a few good words on behalf of  Kopp the Younger's client “The Calderons”into the ears of Quentin's veteran judge friends who may still sit on the California Bench. One of them could wind up presiding over the matter of the People vs. Sen. Ron Calderon trial, starting not long from now?

If we don't ask, then nobody's gonna tell!

Spill the beans now!

Attn. members off the Fourth Estate:

Why don't you ask Grand Old Papa Kopp right now, off the top of his head, for a frank reaction to this ticklish conflict-of-interest situation where Q. sadly finds himself in the middle, despite a long, unblemished career of public service tied to a decades-long love-affair conducted with gushing California state political reporters?

By the way, Judge Kopp's other son is a wigged-out ex-hippie cultist!

“If there were no bad people, there would be no good lawyers.”

So sez Charles Dickens!
