She had been hypnotized before and liked it.

Feasting on comfort foods, her diet was heavily laced with carbohydrates and sugars that caused two negative results. One was a sharp spike in her sugar levels, followed by a quick crash because the carbohydrates and sugars quickly break down to energy. The second problem was mood swings, highs and lows brought on by the sugar levels. Fluctuating sugar levels bring good moods and good decision-making when high but anxiety, sweats and rapid heartbeat when low. The person makes emotional decisions based on a perceived fear. Fear is False Experience Appearing Real. Because the brain needs sugar to survive. It is hyper vigilant in its search for sugar, functioning better when there is a continuous stream of sugar at a constant rate. If you stabilize your blood sugar levels, you feel better.
This is where hypnosis is useful. If the client is willing to follow a protein-rich diet, to work out a little harder, to commit to losing one to two pounds a week, to eat small, protein-rich meals every two or three hours, this coupled with strong visualization while in hypnosis will bring the desired results.
When the sugar levels are low, the person is much more susceptible to panic attacks. If a person he or she will blame whatever he was doing at the time of the panic attack. The subconscious learns the new behavior instantly, and now the poor person is locked into recurring panic attacks every time they do the same thing.
With the protein diet, exercise and conditioning to desensitize the client from whatever she experienced, the client’s attacks were solved. She became used to eating protein, to exercising. Soon, she was at her target weight with a determination to be permanently off of the weight-loss, weight-gain cycle.
