She Is Competing for National Miss Title

Stephanie Cheyenne Findley, the daughter of Ms. Natasha Butcher, is entered in Saturday’s National American Miss pageant in Garden Grove, open to girls between the ages of 4 and 18 in five ages groupings. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award and an invitation to the national finals at Disneyland. Pageant officials say their event “is dedicated to ceklebrating Ameruica’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders.” Judging is based on four categories, 30 percent personal introduction, 30 percent communication skills, 30 percent formal wear and 10 percent community involvement. Ms. Finley is 12 years old, and her mother, Ms. Butcher, says that her interests span dancing after school (including tap, hip-hop, ballet and jazz classes), swimming, roller skating, shopping, talking on the telephone and more.” Ms. Findley’s sponsors include her mother, Tee Findley, Gloria Butcher, Agatha Butcher, Linda Butcher, Lousia Butcher, Kristina Smith, Krastal Smith, and Cherrie Webb.
